Player Guide

sub.games is a platform where indie game creators publish browser games. You can play games for free, subscribe to your favorite creators, and unlock exclusive content.

Playing Games

Browse games at sub.games/explore or from the home page. Click any game to play it directly in your browser — no downloads needed.

Some games are public and playable without an account. Others require a free account or a paid subscription to access.

Creating an Account

Sign up with just your email address — no password needed. When you want to log in, sub.games sends a magic link to your email. Click it and you're in.

You can also sign up from within a game if it uses the sub.games SDK. A prompt will appear asking for your email.

Subscribing to Creators

Each creator on sub.games has their own subscription tiers:

Free — just your email. Access free-tier games and content.
Supporter — $3-$8/month (varies by creator). Unlock supporter-tier games and features.
Founder — $150/year. Get everything, including founder-exclusive content.

To subscribe:

Visit a creator's profile (sub.games/@username)
Choose a tier
Complete payment (if choosing a paid tier)

You can also subscribe from within a game when prompted. If a game has a feature locked behind a tier, you'll see a subscribe prompt.

Managing Subscriptions

View and manage all your subscriptions at sub.games/subscriptions. From there you can:

See which creators you're subscribed to
View your current tier for each creator
Cancel or reactivate subscriptions
Switch between monthly and annual billing

While playing games, you can:

Like — show appreciation for a game
Comment — leave feedback or chat with other players
Re-game — share a game to your activity feed
Save — bookmark a game to your library for later

Access your saved games from your library. Your likes and re-games appear on your activity feed.

Update your display name and avatar
Manage email notification preferences
View your following list
